Our mission is to raise money to support research and development to help cure Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Our profits will go to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cysticfibrosis.ca).
Our daughter, who was born in 2002, has CF. It is a deadly genetic disorder that severly limits the lifespans of people with CF. Since the 1960s, there has been a great amount of progress in the treatment of CF and it has caused the average lifespan to rise from 4 years to 51 years.
In 1989, it was a team of Canadian researchers that discovered the gene responsible for CF and there have been many exciting developments since. With more research, a cure can be found. Thank you for helping us in our cause.
